Sanding and Polishing Service
Solid Strip Timber Flooring
Provincial Floors offers its customers a hassle-free Comprehensive Strip Flooring Package. This package concludes with the sanding and polishing of your professionally installed timber floor. Hardwood floor sanding and polishing typically occurs at the end of your building project. Sanding involves the use of advanced machinery to remove impurities from the timber floor and create a level and smooth surface.
After sanding is concluded, our floor polish service takes place with your desired finish. A flooring finish is used to seal and protect your timber from external harm such as grit, spills etc. Floor finishes differ in appearance meaning that some finishes may be more suitable to your home than others. For example, finishes can differ in sheen, allowing more or less light to reflect off the timber's surface. High gloss coatings were extremely popular in the early 2000’s, however matte and satin finishes are favoured today. Flooring can be stained or treated with reactive to change the look of the timber and achieve unique colours. Furthermore, coatings offer different levels of durability. Learn about our range of coatings here.
